When recreational running experienced great popularity in the 1970s, running shoes also became performance shoes. While the models of those days were considered simple by today's standards, that decade stands out as the time when running shoes really took off. Thanks to the 327s, the 1970s were the scene of innovation by appealingly redesigning design elements with a modern look. With an angular reinterpretation of the beloved wedge silhouette, oversized "N" branding applied asymmetrically, and a wrap-around trail-inspired notched sole, the 327s ensure a reiteration of the running tradition.
